PlayStation 3 Firmware Update 2.60 is Now Available!

Wow! That new Photoalbum looks neat! Was a little affraid first to update. But i believe everything went well :hmm:

was hoping for mkv support :( ... oh well guess we'll just have to wait some more.

I was a bit disappointed about this new firmware update. Its good to see that they are attempting to add additional features such as the photo gallery and the security to credit and debit cards, but i was expecting abit more general improvement to other areas as well.

had a glitch in motorstorm: PR right after installing this. The game went down to about 1 fps for a minute then went back to normal.

Not had any problems since though so may not be related.

hi i updated to 2.60 and now i cant play games it reads an error massage in start up game 8000 something can some one help every thing works ican play dvd's but canot start the games :confused:

i own a PS3 40GB Pal version and since the 2.60 update some of my divX files doestn work anymore.

someone know this problem? because i have some files which are same codec, and some of them works fine, other he says "file is not supported". q.q
