I keep getting s-101 error. I've done everything on the manual.

One thing I do know (although I haven't tried it myself, so not sure if it's related or not) is that in \htdocs\HUBPS3_SVML\unity\start.jsp you must add your own PC's IP here:

I mailed this thread to Leviathan (who made the guide) and he replied saying he will improve the guide tonight with an updated one/FAQ available tomorrow morning. :tup3:

Until then, all I can suggest is to wait and see if anyone else figures out what is causing the error. :confused: I will +Rep those who lend a hand...

Sadly, I don't have the time nor interest to get involved with PS Home stuff myself. Those who do go on Home frequently and are familiar with SimpleDNS/Apache/etc are the ones who can be of assistance here for troubleshooting. :cool:

Finally the error message disappeared but now I'm getting stuck on the loading part where it says "Verifying purchased content"

The loading bars loads almost till the end but it just stays there, I even let it sit for about 10 minutes and nothing happened...

This happened as well with the old region jumping method. Keep trying, and verify that all your settings are correct. Try restarting your PS3 and PC, then try again. It took me several attempts to get this stuff working even when all settings were correct.

Its doing that because you have unlocked items on your Home which u didnt put on the inventory list. Try it on a new account and you'll see the difference. It works if you start a fresh new account.

Leviathan replied again via e-mail as he's monitoring this thread... he said that for people who are getting stuck on "verifying content" here is that last thing you need to do:

Change this Inventory-PSNIDHere.xml with your own PSN ID, then do the same with HDl.jsp2 (edit in Notepad, etc).

where do we add the code we want unlocked?

there's 2 xmls in the hotdocs folder provided there are 9 codes already in it I'm guessing just add the code you find to both xml folders, its in the fileservices folder ..ps u need an xml editor to add or change code in these folders Internet explorer wont edit it just lets u see whats already there

couldnt we use simple dns http re-director plug-in instead of the quickzone wizard.. it resolved alot of the problems i had when i did the region jump

Connection error

Happens whenever i try to connect to home.

Tried to put my IP into the start.jsp instead of the blank one, Didnt work, Tried to change the name of the line since in quotes you said it should be .jsps, when in the text file its .jsp2

Wait.. Got to verifying purchased content, but altering the filenames seem to keep it left at a lockup at the end of verifiying purchased content...

did you copy the httpd text file as well as the mime file? you need both i think

Tried to do what they said to fix it, it didnt work.

I keep gettin timed out and I did what it says in the guide to set Internet Sharing on. I checked the htdocs.conf and it's already set to listen on port 10060. Any tips would be great.

For the guys that are getting stock on the "verifying purchased item", here is the solution for it....

UPDATE:

On the htdocs file,open it,then open HUBPS3_SVML file,you’ll see 3 files (fileservices,home,unity).
-Open first fileservices folder: there you’ll see the XML file with the items list,rename that xml to

Inventory-YOUR PSN HERE

Then save it
-Open home folder.,open fileservices folder,open the (HDI) file with notepad, you’ll see something like this:



Now put your PSN name on the 2 spots that it says “YOUR PSN HERE” and also put your IP address where it says “YOUR IP HERE”
Now you are almost done ,close notepad and save the changes you made to it.
-Open unity folder, and open the “start” file with notepad,you’ll see a big text,but you need to pay attention for this:



Where it says “YOUR IP HERE” replace that with your ip address.
Now close it and save the changes you made to it.

YOU ARE DONE.

We got that far already.. But we need to know, What exactly do we do with the packet from sniffing the itemgrant out? I have the line right here, and dont know how to use it to snag items.

You need to use wireshark then in home go near anybody, better to do it in private spaces, then you'll sniff the items id codes.

Then once you get lots of codes check them out here: http://scee-home.playstation.net/c.home/prod/live/Objects/00000000-00000000-00000000-01030036/small.png

Just type that on your web browser and change the number for the items id you just sniffed and it will display the picture of the item,then if you don't have that item just add it to your XML file containing the other items id.....

i have noticed somthing strange when i started using this on my uk account. i booted it up and got an american message of the day.. which begs the question could this be modified to do a region jump?

He just dumped those from my website. The only way to find out what they are is to compile them into an HTML file and open it in a web browser. The ID's will pull the item's icon from the Home servers and display it for you.

Hate to doublepost, but tried to edit and was just over 5 mins.

How are we supposed to use wireshark to help us get the items? Everything else i have down except wireshark.

I think I got it, So we edit the item`s code into the inventory xml file that we saved into the apache folder to change what items we have and then log out of home and go to home after we close down apache, and simpledns?

reinstalled it all, now it says s-101 error.

Reinstalled a 3rd time, Now im back to the purchased content error, Doublechecked all files and nothing is wrong...

Why doesnt someone just try this with a mule account, then re-upload the apache files when their working? That would save everyone a load of trouble, all they gotta do is change account names.

Edit: Okay, I finally figured out how to connect again, but, wireshark is useless to me, So I am just editing the files to force the items into my inventory.

how did you get it to work?

I reinstalled all PC applications. Here's the exact stuff I did.

Installed apache / simpledns
added the files as said, but did not mod them.
used quickzone wizard, zone name homeps3.svo.online.scee.com and then my IP in the first box, last 2 boxes empty.

Then tried to connect and it worked fine.

But, Ever since the update on home and reinstalling it all again. all I get is "connection error /HUBPS3_SVML/unity/start.jsp"

So. Think its patched now?

i dont think so it looks like a error within the document (possibly reffering to a non existing location?)

Okay now. Spent an hour or two writing up a very detailed guide on how to do this, including lots of snapshots and ect, Just waiting for admin to approve of it when he wakes up.

So. Just wait until it is up and then you can figure out how to.

Thats good to know, I was wondering, Do you have any idea how to fix the new error I have been getting since the server updated last night? I was in and swapping items just fine >< Then I wrote a program to convert both stores into one massive itemgain, and just before I got to try it, there was an update.

Now all I get is.

As if for some reason it cant read the startup file now...

the startup file is working fine for me the problem is I am getting stuck during verifying purchased blah blah blah. i think its the apache files that need to be tweaked. I tried with both the updated ones and the original and with the original i get stuck and with the updated i get a server error.

Since I haven't done any of this myself (PS3 is 1.10 Firmware) a lot of this is "Greek" to me. :wacky:

However, Leviathan may be able to share some insight as he reads these replies and has a chance to follow-up on them. ;)2

Ya, I'm fine with it.. our site is intended for 1024x768 or higher resolution. Based on available stats data, most people here actually use higher than that! :omg: Those still stuck on 800x600 can deal with having a scroll bar. :D

I guess I have gotten used to the 22inch widescreen monitor by now o.o Oh well. All thats left is to wait for lev to login and save our souls from the dreaded start.jsp error.

I need help, i am having trouble connecting to the internet on my ps3 when using the pc IP as my primary DNS. the weird thing is it will let me do it when i use my router ip as my primary. but the hack wont work with me using that as my dns. should i change the files to read my router as the ip address and use simpledns with my router ip instead also? any help is much appreciated

Ok im confused. Im trying to find only specific things cuz i dont want paid stuff from the mall i only want free unlockables and free stuff from the mall. Im using wireshark but i cant find any of the item codes at all. If someone knows can you please explain how to find the tags? I dont need a tut on how to use the program so dont tell me to google it cuz there is nothing there about what im asking.

I'm completely stuck on the first part, and I'm geting confused with the new updates and the old stuff.
First thing is.. when starting the apache installer it asks for the server names, I have no idea what i have to fill in lol.

Just put anything to allow it to install. Really doesn't have to be anything specific.

Can we get some more Item UUID's for the Home Costumes or can we at least get a wireshark tutorial cause the ones in the Japan and US XML files didnt work for me.

If anyone wants to help me it would be loved. I have abandoned attempting to get this done. And, I am willing to throw together huge XML`s.

I made a package for all of the XML`s from the japanese cloths store, so that you get them all at once, if someone has access to this method of getting items, ill gladly give you the gigantic list in exchange for you collecting the items for me, And, If you do a good job, Ill give you one for the american one too.

Like i said, i know how to use the program. I just need help on where exactly to find the item tags when i use it cuz dont see anything that even closely resembles an item tag.

i get pretty far in this tutorial but then when i goto connect home the (hdd) thing in top right corner freezes every time, i've waited over 10 minutes before giving up a couple times as well.

I'm having trouble with apache, can't run it, it says "The requested operation has failed!" when I click start.

any idea what the problem is?

Im at a similar part I would like help on this a lot hell if someone can just point to where the tags are and how to filter out the extra stuff from the tags i'd be home free.

Well i used some of the tags from page 4 and tried it out. i did everything listed on this thread. then tried it on my alternate account and even made a new account. both times i didnt get anything other than what i was supposed to unlock from the game. Im in the US so i used scea and that lets me go through but i even tried scee to see and that gives me the same thing as everyone else (stuck on verifying purchased content or whatever that says)

Is there anyone that actually got it to work?

Apache is telling me it has a couple of errors even though it installs either way, I cant extract the files using winrar, WHY? When i do it said access denied along with other errors, does this matter or can I just go ahead onto the other stuff?

Is it possible to do the same thing PS3Proxyserver? Installing Apache and the settings look like a pain in the rear.

If you get the connection error it means you've done something wrong so recheck. If you win normal items you are going through normal home and not through the htdocs in apache... I know im stuck on verifying purchased items if anyone can let me know how to get past this problem I would be grateful tried everything.

I've been told there's a way past this but they wouldnt let me know how so asking any of you to shed a light thanks... I always try to help others when I can, just hope one of u will do the same.. thanks again!

Thanks for posting this but are you Kulhu? Cuz This is Kulhus Item identifier. I have been following this and the post on cR and got it to work but now I am getting stuck at verifying purchased items like everyone else. I think we need an updated file pack or something. I wasn't having any issues before.

If you are getting this error then there is something missing in the files you edited. They are not being directed correctly. double check all your files, Make sure you put the IP where the IP goes, and also check the httpd file in conf. As with my setup, I have it installed in the E drive so I had to change the httpd file to direct everything to the E drive instead of C.

It works now. You have to put homeps3.svo.online.scee.com, not homeps3.svo.online.scea.com. But now i stuck at Verifying purchased content. :(

THIS IS THE ANSWER TO EVERYONE'S PROBLEMS.. WELL IT WORKED FOR ME!!!

Open the HDI.JSP2 file and if it reads "DownloadFileServlet_fileID=0000000000&fileNameBeginsWith=Inventory-PSNIDHere.xml" change it to just read "Inventory-PSNIDHERE" of course with your psn id. ONLY THE JSP2 FILE.. It should work now. Did for me!

My HDI.jsp2 doesn't have that string in it. :confused: It looks lke:
So what do I do now, change the filename in /HUBPS3_SVML/fileservices to read "Inventory-PSNIDHERE" along with hdi.jsp2?

You don�t need to connect your ps3 directly with your pc. My pc ist connected via ethernet cable and my ps3 via wlan with my dsl router.

the hack is patched, you can't lock items in your inventory.

Error works just with free items in all region.

I know the recent PlayStation Home update v1.23 fixed the Summer House Glitch so that people can only use saves created by their own accounts... not sure if it affected/plugged this too though. :hmm:

i can confirm that this exploit still works. one of my friends did it after the 3.0 firmware update. also, locking items is still possible.

I have done everything correctly 3 times over. And yet, I still keep getting stuck at the verifying purchased content. I am using a wireless connection.

I put homeps3.svo.online.scee.com and i've tried using "scea" because i live in the united states and i put my ip address in SimpleDNS. I put my IP in the DNS manually on my ps3 under network settings and the only way to get a connection is for me to put my gateway in the secondary dns.

i've put my psn in the fileservice xml, changed one of them to inventory-my psn and then the other 1 jus' added my psn, but then i tried to remove the second xml that still didn't work. i put my ip address in the start file where it said 192.168.0.0. but in none of the files does it say "insert ip address here" or anything to that affect.

i did put my psn in the two places in the hdi jps2 file and removed the extra strings to say...filename=inventory-my psn...my ip address...fileservices/inventory-my psn.xml and for the second hdmi file i only put my psn, tried removin' it from the folder, tried puttin' my psn and my ip address. but nothin' seems to work. and yes i put the two files in the apache folder, the mime and something else BEFORE i started Apache. and nothing is workin'. Is this patched or somethin'?

and now it stops at the initialization after i tried it the third time, but i don't mind workin' through it again to eliminate that because at first i was only gettin' stuck at verifying purchased content. :confused:

nevermind, scratch my question. i've gotten it to work LOL.. but where do I find the code for a pair of shoes (that i've seen on Home numerous times) that are pink, white, and blue (almost cotton candy lookin' and i think only for females)? also, where do i find a list of codes dedicated to mainly females, because it seems 90% of item codes on this site are for males?

If you do not know how to add in new items, here's how:

Navigate to (in the File Pack):

htdocs\HUBPS3_SVML\fileservices

...and open up the file called (which should have your PSN ID by the way):

0000000000&fileNameBeginsWith=Inventory-PSNIDHere

...then add in a new section of HTML which looks like this:

...simply plug in one of the IDs from the list below into the above tags, and then insert that line into the list of IDs in BOTH of the files in the:

htdocs\HUBPS3_SVML\fileservices

...directory of the file pack. Don't forget to copy these files over and then overwrite the existing ones in the Apache directory:

C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\HUBPS3_SVML\fileservices

...and then restart the Apache server to let it load the changes (restart Home aswell).

To pick up your own unique item IDs, all you have to do is run WireShark and it will pick up every ID of the person in the space you are currently in. If there is a moderator or guide in the space you are in (for example) you'll pick up the ID of those clothes. You can pick up literally any object, even objects from stores and exclusive events.

It was done by using some others save files. But it was patchesd so you can�t use some others save files anymore.
The only way to do it is to create the save files yourself. I also want to know how. It�s done by using c.home files and simple dns and apache, but i don�t know how. :(

Using XP is simple - few options. Start -> Run, type: cmd, then once the box comes up, type ipconfig , hit enter - your IP

Or, right click on My Network Places, hit properties, then double click on your LAN adapter, hit details tab (or something like that)

Or, Pull up the control panel, go to the Network connections, double click your LAN adapter, and hit the details tab.

I prefer #1- its faster, and always cooler looking if there is someone less experienced around you!

Is there a guide in which to enter the item codes without having to sniff them out with wireshark? I want plenty of items, but what I really wanted was that XAMD arm, but cant seem to get wireshark to work as I dont know what to do with it.

More importantly though, I want to know the effect the new Home update has on the hack, since it was mentioned that they have a new way of verifying what you own and when they do it.

This won�t work since update 1.3. You need some other files now apparently.
