If your really serious about gettin this game, (like most people are) then 2 gb is nothing to play such an epic looking game =]
It should come with a discount on a new HDD...
Haven't looked around, but sony needs to give us a tool to clone our hdds completely. I dont want to go through all the installations I have done.

It took a while, but I didn't have to hang around or reinstall anything.
It would be nice to be able to put the new/old HD in an external case and clone it like that, but apart from some extra time it went pretty smooth.
Really hope the install cuts loading times to almost nothing then, most of the time the install of games is bs :(
2 gigs doesn't seem too bad. If I remember correctly the fallout 3 game of the year edition had a 6 gig install.
Well at this speed we will soon fill our original HDs and Im willing to upgrade if I can find a way to make a 1:1 backup of my HD, sure I know it will take time to copy everything but are you willing to install everything, not just the files that come with the game discs, you also have to download patches most of the time and thats time consuming.
This dosent suprise me at all. Almost every new Ps3 game these days requires som kind of install. Those who dont require it, tend to have almost unbareable loading times if not installed to harddrive.
However, since you can easy swap your Ps3 hardrive for a bigger one I havent realy minded too much.
