The Tokyo Game Show 2009 is ending today, but not before an Assassin's Creed II video interview highlighting new gameplay surfaces.

Also available below is a Character List for Assassin's Creed II, which arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November, 2009 and on PC in Q1, 2010.

So far not all of the characters that will be in the game have been revealed, so this is a partial list and includes some speculative characters.

To quote: Assassin’s Creed 2 is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy.

Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florence’s most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin.

I watched an interview once upon a time and it seemed that there would be less tedium. The best parts of AC were the assassinations themselves - in AC2 there are a lot of assassination side-quests.

Also you can see by this character list that there will be at least a little more meaningful character interaction than in the first game. Also expanding your arsenal and including a currency system both seem like good ideas to keep you a little more engaged.

Sometimes PC get delayed cause it gets so cracked so fast and most people who can actually run it on a pc rather to download play and delete for "free" than buy the game play and keep :D

I alway buy games that are really worth.

On the other hand, I believe that with Assassin's Creed 1, the delayed PC version was eventually leaked (months prior to the official release), resulting in overall lower-than-expected sales on the PC platform.

However, I'm glad it's getting delayed, because judging from the trailers I've seen, AC2 on consoles doesn't look nearly as good as AC1 looked on my PC. I think I'll wait for the PC version.
