I would replace Codemasters with Konami or rather Kojima Productions for the amazing MGS4 and instead of Bungie I would place Rockstar for GTA4 which had even greater sales. I also sense that the article was made with a little slant towards publicity for Fuel by Codemasters.
I would definately get Codemasters off that list. Would much rather have Ubisoft on there, although maybe not in second place.
No Insomniac games or Konami??? No instead the person who wrote this put Capcom the most mediocre games maker of all time. Nice find star but when they mention Bungie and Guerilla game that have only made 1 popular series ach and ignore insomniac which has made in total 3, 2 of which they still hold the rights to it doesn't sound like they did very much research. And like I said Capcom doesn't make very good games in my opinion. Sure Mega Man, Street Fighter and Resident evil are all well known games. But Capcom seems to be mediocre at best. (Note: I am not a big fan of Mega man, although it's one of their best known series.
To me Mega man isn't hard it's just annoying. I got through the demo to number 9 without trouble and only die when I went to jump over a gap and they had a machine intentionally come out right then just to knock me into the hole. It's just always annoyed me how many cult fans think mega man is the "best game ever made" because you have to memorize every level or you won't make it through. I am also not a big fan of fighting games but I know street fighter is very popular for what ever reason, but I personally prefer Mortal Kombat and Soul Caliber).
Anyway everything is based on opinion. I personally prefer 3rd person and over the shoulder shooters, as well as platformers. So Insomniac is high on my list. But I still don't see how Capcom could be considered number 1.

That's quite early for such a good looking game X_X
ouch! this article hurts... especially when whoever wrote this clearly have no idea what he/she is talking about!
This whole list is written off like it was some sort of half hazy dream session from the mind of an 80-year old insomniac dude who just read these titles off some game shop window while walking his old dog, and managed to remember some of the colorful names on the posters.
This is almost complete nonsense. Fellow admins, please refrain from belittling the quality of the news from your site by subscribing to these crude amateurish attempts at journalism.
Some of the companies like Epic and Guerilla Games, definitely have a top spot, but Guerilla only made Killzone and Epic didn't do much other than the renowned GoW series. There are so many game companies who best all of those mentioned in the list. What about Insomniac?! It won the best company award this year, i think it was something about the "best place to work" award. And its games are far from being light or easily forgotten releases. There is Ready at Dawn for god of war. How could that old freak who wrote this, ever forget that??! Anyways, this is a lost cause and if i explain more, i should be the one rewriting this article from scratch. :shame:

I don't think RE5 is THAT great. Sure It's enjoyable, but it could have been alot better if they had listened to fans or something. The game lacks one of the most important thing in the RE series (even RE4 still had some of it!): Ambient.
The controls aren't bad imho. The graphics are indeed awesome, but it's not the best looking game. At least not on the PS3.
And it's definately not the best RE game.
As mentioned above, where did Konami go, or Naughty Dog or Insomniac. Ok Epic Games and Bungie are the developers that brought succes to the 360, but codemasters?? I'm ok with Capcom being on that list. However i'm not sure if it should be on 1st place, because they made flawed sequels like Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV. Both seem to lack stuff. (Can't believe they took that long to make SF IV. They could have added alot more to the game!)
