I hope its not the wii that gets it.. I would like to see this game with some real grfx.

OMG i would love to see this game on my PS3. i was a big fan of the game and i bought a Dreamcast just coz i wanted to play this game. the gameplay is maybe not everybodys thing but the story was great, not to mention the grahpics that were absolutely amazing back in the days.

Sadly it will not have any "real grfx" because that would mean it would have to be released on PC rather than any console. As for it being on the Wii, I seriously doubt that will happen unless Sega are even more insane than I thought. The Wii is an overclocked Gamecube.

Who left the door open for trolls to come in, quit the pc/console fud.. we don't care, consoles aren't going anywhere.

Trolls? Is that how you respond when you're offended? I'm not here to "feud" with anyone, my main point was that it's extremely unlikely to end up on the Wii. Maybe I should have cut out the first part of my last post for you sensitive ones, then again, no.

I've never played either previous Shenmue but always heard good things. I personally hate exclusives but good thing about them is they are typically more polished then if they are ported everything this way and that. Examples: MGS, GoW, Halo, GT, and so on
if their worried about investing in a new shenmue title because of how bad the originals sold, then i think they should test the waters and port the first one or even the second to either the ps3 or 360 and see how much interest there is in a remake? after that they can decide to finish the series off or not.
the code would probably need a good goin over and may take a year or so to port, but would be less costly than making a new title for the series.
personally i want them to finish the series off with a third, but can see how the investment would be hard to get because of previous sales
just have to wait and see...

This is going to be an platform exclusive. Well, whoever gets it will definitely boost their console sale significantly. Let's hope it's not 360 exclusive, otherwise, the playstation 3 will lose another platform blockbuster game. Btw, as far as I remember, Sega seems to have a good relationship with M$ anyway. Both shenmue and shenmue II were released on the original XBOX, so why not the third one?
