The perks list for Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) have been released by Activision, and it looks like they've also retained some old ones apart from adding in some fresh items.

If you complete the particular challenge for each Perk, you can find yourself being upgraded to a "Pro" version.

Now, do take note that getting upgraded to Pro does not necessarily make the Perk stronger, just that there may be a new feature or a side effect.

The list of the current known Perks are below:

Akimbo | Akimbo Pro
Ability: Allows to dual-wield any sidearm
Pro Ability: ?
Note: Perk Slot for Akimbo is still unknown

Perk Slot 1

* Marathon | Marathon Pro
o Ability: Unlimited sprint
o Pro Ability: Get over obstacles faster

* Sleight of Hand | Sleight of Hand Pro
o Ability: Faster reloading
o Pro Ability: ?

* Scavenger | Scavenger Pro
o Ability: Full resupply from dead enemies
o Pro Ability: ?

* Classified (needs to be unlocked)
o Ability: ?
o Pro Ability: ?

Perk Slot 2

* Stopping Power | Stopping Power Pro
o Ability: Increased bullet damage
o Pro Ability: Increased bullet damage vs. vehicles

* Lightweight | Lightweight Pro
o Ability: Move faster
o Pro Ability: ?

* Hardline | Hardline Pro

o Ability: Killstreaks require 1 less kill
o Pro Ability: ?

* Cold-Blooded | Cold-Blooded Pro

o Ability: Undetectable by UAV, air support, sentries and thermal
o Pro Ability: ?

* Classified (needs to be unlocked)

* Commando | Commando Pro
o Ability: Increased melee distance
o Pro-Ability: ?

* Steady Aim | Steady Aim Pro

I am waiting till the game comes out before I care about whats in it. Its looking less and less appealing with all the new mechanics in the game. The guns also look to have less recoil which will just make for some really annoying deaths online.

There is a lot of room to mess up balance basically and the fact they arent doing an open beta makes that even more of a possibility.

Besides that I just think that any news that comes for this game is just activision propaganda. Its like activision is eveil incarnate to me. lol

I am a big fan of the Modern Warfare.. had loads of fun playing online (tho in PC) hehehe.. just a ps3 slim and a big question.. Do u need PSN to play online?

yes, you need PSN to play online, btw PSN is free, you only need an internet connection.
