I will have to say that i have enjoyed the COD franchise to a great extent.. each of their games has been a pleasure...
... so i would say it is true with many that removing Call of Duty from the title could potentially cost them sales from people like me who intend to play every COD game they come out with.

I'm glad they restored the COD franchise name to the game ~ it gives the game it's true identity. Without that moniker, it would be difficult to persuade newbies to the franchise to climb aboard. With the COD name synonimous with excellent first person shooters, ditching this would have been a gamble that could have backfired hugely. Now those that are and those that aren't in the know will have a common footing come launch day - which I cannot wait for! Roll on November 10th!!!
